Most already know but for those that didn't-dad tried woodskating with socks and wood floor. Dad 0, floor 1. He should get out of the hospital tomorrow post surgical repair of a broken hip but will need to be off of it for 6 weeks. A pointed out that it wasn't right to wear socks on a slippery floor.
Halloween weekend has been a blur. Between Scott's school having homecoming this weekend (I pity those parents if they have a teen and a young one) and then all the other festivities, I'm exhausted. May need to dive into the little ones smorgasborg of candy. They scored!!! And we were avoiding houses after awhile because we just. wanted. to. get. home.
