The girls weekend schedule is wearing me out. I keep telling myself they are teaching me the meaning to all work and no play....because they have the play part down.

Friday was filled with hitting the library for new books (I can take reading the same book night after night for about 3 weeks....unless it's The Velveteen Rabbit, that one I can do all the tijme!) tand then off to the grocery store where Z was quite insistent that tomatoes and oranges are "apples". She was not interested in learning their correct names. Then off to Papa and Nana's for a sleep over so Mommom and Daddy could play with adults. Scott played volleyball while Mommom supervised...and Daddy said that he saw a scorpion in the sandpit where they were playing volleyball. It rose up out of the sand when Daddy's bare foot disturbed it's slumber.
Saturday was a day of catching up on naps and play after returning home from Papa and Nana's. Sunday....off to one of Scott's coworker's home. They live in a Del Webb community which means they have a HUGE community center and swimming area. The kid swimming area is phenomenal with a climbing area with 3 separate water slides in it and lots of spraying nozzles, hoses and galore. A was all about climbing up and down and would watch with great interest when other kids went down the slide but was a definate NO! for going herself. Z contentedly went up the stairs. And back down. And back up. And....you get the point. The weather was almost....cold. For Phoenix.

I totally hear you about being more rested at work! Being at home is thoroughly exhausting, non-stop motion!
