Mars vs. Venus

A doesn't have much to say at preschool. She has a friend who is just as quiet as she is and apparently they play quietly together...talking only when necessary.

Lately there have been quite a few boys in her class...who rush her when she walks in the door. She usually gives them all the stare down until they back off and leave her alone with her personal space. Wonder where she learned that little trick?.....Ahem.

There has been an abrupt switch. It is popular to discuss "are you a boy or girl" at school. A has spent quite some time pointing out which bugs are boys vs. girls, which turtles are boys vs. girls...and she has all the pets in our house figured out correctly as well as mommom and dad. I can't understand her explanation when we ask he how she tells the difference between the boy and girl bugs. And now she will talk to at least one boy during lunch which is driving the other little boy insane with jealousy!!!

Z on the other hand met her younger boyfriend face to face tonight. He is almost a full year younger but he batted those baby blue Frank Sinatra eyes at her and she was unimpressed. A however, kissed him.

Z is a walking teeter totter that falls over for every third step. Despite diapers being padded, I still found a bruise on her butt with her last bath.
