The rain thundering on our aluminum patio roof is louder than the applause of the academy. Of course when the rain stopped Z woke up (howling for 20 seconds). Apparently A was right about the rain helping them sleep as she told me today before a nap.


I think the throw back 80s outfit A wore today was better than any gown that strolled down the red carpet. She wore leggings (hot pink) with lace trimming under a light blue (not acid washed, alas) skirt. If she had enough hair I would've put it up in a side ponytail. (Or was that the 70s?).


Our music choice of the day was a war between Black Eyed Peas and Classical Music...classical won but not before A danced to BEP.


Our choreography award went to Z who proved that one move can have multiple uses...bouncing on one's knees to move forward, whether it is to avoid touching the artificial turf with one's hand or to use it to dance shows she has range.
