But sometimes it's worth letting it all slide. Who cares about a little dust when we could be at spanish storytime. Which is exactly what we did. Who knew it could be so liberating walking away from crumbs on the counter. That may or may not be there when we get back. A little gray feline may have something to do with that one. Now if I could only teach her how to wash dishes despite the lack of opposable thumbs.
Z had her second tooth push through. Which may explain why she cried so hard the night before when she face planted on her lower lip. It was enough that A actually came out of her bedroom, which she has not done before. When A gets up from a nap she reads or plays quietly in her room. She could hear Z crying and figured she should intervene.
A had a play date this week. The girls worked on ring around the rosies. And not only on the turning part....after all, it makes the game much more challenging if you go in opposite circles to one another...but also the singing part. Ashes is a word that requires enunciation. The best part of all was the falling and rolling with all limbs flailing.
Z is pulling up on chairs and whatever her little paws can get on. She has been up on her knees (not standing) as much as possible and yet has to master the crawl. Although at this rate, I suspect she will end up running before walking, etc.
Cousin Jessica is also in town. Papa and Nana convinced A that lions chase giraffes (she has a hat for each) so A gave the lion hat to cousin Jessica and put on the giraffe hat, took off running and yelled over her shoulder "Chase me!!!" Jessica will sleep well tonight!!!
