Kate and Dawson arrived unscathed from their 2 hour flight. As if that it isn't enough, Kate had to drive 3 hours first to the airport. Then 1 hour from our airport to our house. The cheap airflight comes at a price after all....
Dawson adjusted well to the visit-was a little more than shell shocked when he first arrived but was not upset to hear the birds scream. Or his cousin Aubrey for that matter.
In a nutshell-we spent time at the zoo, the zoo waterpark, eating snowcones for the first time, the waterpark at Thunderbird Park and playing in a kiddie pool. Playing in the sandbox/water table and so much more. Meltdowns: Several. By the adults.
Kate worried too much about waking the girls...seriously Kate if you are reading-don't worry about it. Or Fuggetaboutit. :) The girls sleep through neighbor's garage sales (multiple cars coming and going) as well as other neighbor's parties (another one last night....when oh when will they move??? Or how can I afford two houses until I can sell this one??) and the birds hollering.
One night at the dinner table Aubrey counted the four of them in Spanish (I was at work) and Dawson made a suprised squeak. They looked over to see him staring at his fork upon which he had speared two green beans!!! The differences between little girls and boys...more than puppy dog tails vs. sugar and spice!
